Yeah, big disagree there. I would say the main reason trump supporters want to kill liberals is because they have been told that the liberals are secret leftists.
I don’t know in america, but in europe, old school communists are much less hated than liberals by the right. The problem is mostly one here, mass immigration and, mostly, mena immigration. Old school communist are really good to seal borders ( for economic reasons, like massive devaluation of salaries ), see Fico in Slovakia , an old soviet communist. On the other hand you have woke left, like green party, that want open borders ( to suppress salaries ) like the liberals and they have an huge support by muslims ( that secretly hate them a lot )
