I’ve not tried them yet, but I’ve enjoyed a lot the new tcg content
Last few patches have been thoroughly mid, IMO. Good enough to pass the time, but nobody will remember any of this content a few months from now. Also, the quality of the accompanying storylines has been slipping for a while now. The card game tournament story felt particularly mediocre, like it was put together by an intern trying to check boxes.
Genshin’s refusal to develop mainline endgame activities, aside from constantly pumping up the numbers on Spiral Abyss Floor 12, really hurts it during this part of the patch cycle. Hopefully the summer patch will be a step up, like GAA and GAA2, and 4.0 will blow our minds.
Yeah, it’s just better to consider genshin as a side game, once you get to endgame most of the fun is over. I personally play it one/two hours after work to relax a bit. I can’t wait for the summer patch (even though I doubt they’ll top GAA 1) and the hydro archon
TCG event was mostly fine, really didn’t care for the ending. All that mystery and it’s a bunch of stupid Treasure Hoarders? 1.3 all over again. I don’t like the TCG, but at least the event was only themed and you didn’t have to play much of it.
I normally like the events with the bosses and all their buffs, but not this one - I just really hate the Thundering Manifestation.
Domain builder was eh. Never cared for events where you can’t bring your own characters, or they’re extremely nerfed, and it’s not combat- or story-focused, so…
I really liked the TCG event, even though I gave myself 2 days to finish it from the start. Kirara is just so adorableeeeeee. ^^
The story for the TCG had a really disappointing ending. Aside from that it was okay
Divine Ingenuity allowed me to get the last elemental achievements, so it was amazing hahaha
Now this recent boss event has been fun. Tailored challenges are often really good
