Remember to remove Reddit from your chrome new tab screen - just a note that chrome will pre-load websites you visit often even if you don’t visit. I believe one way to stop this is remove it as favourite and from most visited screen but not sure.

While you’re there, also remember to remove chrome from your device! Use privacy-respecting alternatives such as brave or, even better, firefox (or librewolf if you don’t want to tinker with it)
Yes please. I always try to convert people to Firefox, Brave or at least to Safari whenever I can. Firefox would be the best case though.
