A Reddit post called the picture “red fash”. I admit that it is controversial, since one may read it as mocking peaceful people who are not muscular, but on the other hand I think it is worthwhile to promote physical strength equally with mental strength and class consciousness. I bet that Specnaz, the special forces of USSR, were not formed from physically weak people. Maybe the picture is seen as a struggle between ideas of the “new left” and AES. What are your thoughts?

ok, i guess i got it all wrong. i can swear that i heard something along the lines of “queer used to be a slur, but we should take it back” in caelan conrad’s video. i couldn’t find it in the transcript, either i just misremembered or i just can’t find it. the correct term they use is “gender and sexual minorities”. so i guess i shouldn’t have generalized the term queer.

    thanks.

i think you misunderstood. if someone is trans, they are queer, but just because someone is queer doesn’t necessarily mean they are trans. some non-trans queer people turned reactionary once they got just enough social acceptance to be comfortable. this can also be seen in some trans people, too.

ok then my original comment was not incorrect, because i meant to include every gender non-conforming person.

ok, now that we have that out of the way, i think you are fundamentally misunderstanding the critique. how is being a reactionary trans person praxis?

i had said “being queer is praxis” and i meant all lgbtq+ people by that, i didn’t mean reactionary trans person. being against the cultural, social norms is praxis, to me. it agitates.

in some parts of the world, for example where i live, even trans people existing is too much for people.

is a reactionary trans person not lgbtq+? there are a whole bunch of lgbt people who will fight for just enough change to make themselves comfortable and then nothing else. that doesn’t sound like praxis to me

before i get totally confused, can you give an example of what a reactionary trans person doing just enough looks like? because it’s getting too abstract for me.

Blaire White is a very visible example. She’s built a career out of making videos mocking leftists and reaffirming the bigotry of conservatives. She says the same things as Ben Shapiro, Dennis Prager, and the like.

is this any different than “leftist” grifters? anyone can be a jerk. that doesn’t make the concept any worse. just because a trans person is bad doesn’t make being trans bad. but in majority being a trans person means that you have critically thought about yourself and came to a conclusion. this shows critical thinking. a person might blindly or critically be cis. but nobody is blindly trans.
