Palworld is a new release on Steam in Early Access from Pocketpair. A fusion of Pokémon with monster catching, farming, building and much more. It is Steam Deck Playable and does work on Desktop Linux too.
No matter how many trailers and leaks come out, I’m still going to be a little surprised to find out this game is real on release. I’ll be amazed if it’s good. I really want it to be, but it seems too good to be true.
Okay, so far it does seem pretty good. How exciting!
What concerns me is the fact the dev has another game in early access that looks pretty similar to this one just without the pokemon in it. Reviews seem good though.
Huh, I think I’ve seen Craftopia around and even considered buying it, but I didn’t know it was also developed by Pocketpair! I seem to remember the steam reviews turning me off Craftopia with mention of jank and unfinished systems…
I’ve been playing it for a few hours this afternoon. It’s pretty decent but there’s still lots that can be added which I hope they do. Little things for quality of life and whatnot.

It feels like it’s going to be an overhyped mess, BUT it’s on gamepass and they do usually have some quality control, so who knows.

Thanks for the heads up!
