I’ve literally created a separate folder for Lemmy apps on my phone. I have 4 so far and I’ll continue to get more until I find the one. Jerboa, liftoff, connect for Lemmy and thunder. Jerboa still doesn’t let me log in with that stupid server error. Liftoff is weird. Thunder is ok, but has some quirks, like you can’t exit the app with the back button (I’m on Android). Connect is the best so far, but I feel like it doesn’t sync well. None of them sends notifications. Situation isn’t the greatest so far, but we are getting there

I’m using connect since it’s the only one I have found that have notifications, I had to turn them on in the settings, it polls every 60 seconds.

Not trying to come across as an ass, but how much do you care about notifications? Personally, back on Reddit I would only ever care about notifications when I was scrolling (which is what I got) if I wasn’t actively using Reddit I didn’t care for them.

I mostly comment when I’m asking for help or helping someone else. Also I forget my ongoing conversations, so notifications is a must for me. The only reason I know you asked me this is because I got a notification 😉

Fair enough. The only reason I know you answered me is because I opened the app and saw I had comments. And honestly I personally prefer it that way because I’m not generally concerned about seeing responses right away, but I understand why you are
