    Oh my fucking god. They consider meta joining to be a good thing???

    This will end just like XMPP and Google talk, Meta will introduce features that will be wildly popular and they won’t share with others on how they even work so Mastodon won’t be able to implement them leaving it in the dark.

    Imagine looking at the past, refusing to learn from it and continue on the same path as before just because of some stupid devotion to “philosophical purity”. Fucking hell, give me a break. I just can’t with liberals.

      Must be young devs behind mastadon with no experience how these corporations work, and what strategies they use to take over technologies.
