    And yet some car in a hurry will still get behind him in the quarter mile stretch he actually has a bike lane and lay on their horn because they want to use the bike lane to get around all the cars stopped in traffic

    I think all bikes should be allowed to mount a lance, and if you’re walking out on the bike path and get spiked, that’s on you. If you swing out without orienting yourself, that’s on you.

      People walking on a bike lane is mostly an infrastructure problem stemming from everybody but the car being relegated to the gutters.

      Which is why I propose if you ride a bicycle any damage to a car caused while on a bicycle, feet not touching the ground, is legal.

        People walking on a bike lane is mostly an infrastructure problem stemming from everybody but the car being relegated to the gutters.

        Like rationally I know that it’s a structural issue not a systemic issue. But I live in a city full of tourists, and there’s just some primal part of me that gets activated when some drunk englishman steps down from the wide-ass sidewalk and steps onto the clearly marked bicycle lane.

        Which is why I propose if you ride a bicycle any damage to a car caused while on a bicycle, feet not touching the ground, is legal.

          Oh, much the same, don’t get me wrong, but this is akin to divide and conquer, after the initial reaction you need to rise above
