Maybe I’m overanalysing this, but isn’t the drain literally the whole point of having a sink? Like, if the drain gets dirty and attracts insects it’s kind of your own fault for doing dumb shit with the sink
Sometimes if it rains a lot, bugs that are in the sewers will seek high ground, sending them up the pipes and into your sink/toilet/bathtub etc regardless of how clean you keep your living space.

Wait I just noitced this, wy are the borders so fucked up? Azerbaijan is very thin and extends into nothern Iran. They don’t have Nakhchivan either.Armenia is very thin as well and Turkey has parts of northern Iran as well. Not only is Iran a sewer here, they gave their land to their neighbours.
