    It’s a bit hard not to be a conspiracy theorist when something like this happens only to the leader of a pro-russia and pro-peace contry in EU.

      Maybe, though genuine assassination attempts are pretty common all things considered. It’s just rare that the attacker actually makes it through.

      Most European leaders have several. Theresa May, Putin, Lukashenko, Zelensky, the Dutch Royal family, etc, all have multiple attempts by committed attackers.

        I didn’t realize they were so common considering I rarely ever see it reported on the news, that and I don’t think any attempts have been made on Canadian leaders (that I’m aware of). That’s actually kind of crazy, Lukashenko? Really? The most recent assassination I remembered was the Japanese president.
