My favorite “kid-ism” was when I overheard my youngest cousin tell my uncle that he “just doesn’t understand because he’s old and moldy”. It’s been over 10yrs now. I will never forget that he said that because it’s one of my favorite things to call people who are old and out of touch.
I used to have a favorite chair. We got it from a thrift store. They didn’t have a tag on it, so I offered them five bucks because five bucks is five bucks. They accepted. We named the chair Old Moldy. Thank you for bringing that memory back.
