Danish PM hit by man in Copenhagen street, her office says

The assault took place on a square in central Copenhagen where a man walked up to her and hit her.

The court hearing just ended. The attacker was a Polish guy who was blackout intoxicated by alcohol and drugs during the incident. He is known by local police from previous episodes in which he has been mentally “unhinged”. He does not recall the episode other than being positively thrilled to meet the prime minister. He was ashamed of his actions.

    There’s plenty of people in DK that would love to clock our politicians in the face.

    But most realize that such an act wouldn’t result in anything favorable for anyone. Aside from very momentary self-satisfaction.
