He’s doing Mastodon a favour. He can always return to anywhere on the fediverse. Complaining that one moderator on one Mastodon instance was mean isn’t news, but maybe it is if it’s a journalist. Good for him.

Meanwhile in Europe… the European Union passed a law recently banning national governments from disclosing to the public a list of environmental data about data centers. Europeans can access aggregate info, but specifics about the environmental impact of any datacentre in particular is now secret.
I thought the 5-year ban was a dangerous, desperate idea. Political rights like who can vote or stand for election should be defended no matter who’s being targeted.

European Parliament assistants can be party officials, and the official seat of the European Parliament is in France (Strasbourg), so the crime they committed wasn’t far from the EU’s rules.

There are no NATO weapons besides the weapons of NATO members. UK, US, Germany, etc — almost all of Ukraine’s weapons, ammunition, training and intel comes from NATO.
He’s no Stalin, and NATO leaders aren’t Hitler of course. But some of them have made a point of honouring the memory of Nazi collaborators recently (Canada and France, maybe others).
They may have overplayed their hand.
NATO is not supplying anything to Ukraine, really? Where does Ukraine get all its weapons, intel and training?
Nonsense. Civilian infrastructure deep within Russia is bombed with NATO intel and weapons almost daily. World’s biggest nuke arsenal.
