Technology@lemmy.world•The productivity paradox of AI coding assistantsEnglish
42·3 days agoAI is my coding companion as there are so few devs I can discuss my coding problems with due to their lack of understanding. The AI maybe wrong at times, but just toasing ideas back and forth gets my gears turning. It’s my evolved coding duck.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is there really a technology difference between Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11 ?
11·3 days agoYeah XP was good, but once 7 was mature XP wasn’t worth the time.
From this period in Disney I’m more 101, Aristocrats, or Fox and the hound. Robin Hood was only ok for me.
Rogue One is great, but can’t say it’s my favorite Disney movie.
Tou story 2 is pretty great. Beauty and the beast is a nearly perfect movie. Bolt is really good as well… I’m going to have to say The Incredibles is my favorite.
IDK it’s hard to have a favorite Disney movie especially if we include Touchstone pictures… Then Starship Troopers

1·15 days agoIt’s true, I didn’t want to pay over $14 for one person to go to the theater. If the prices were reasonable I’d be there.

I wanted to share that i was able to get my CD copies of SimCity and SimCity 3000 running on Linux using Lutris to run the installer and configure wine. I can’t believe that Linux has become the way to run old 16/32 bit applications originally designed for Windows. Love it
