It really does though…
This is like reading a reverse horoscope - you’ve just thrown as many negative traits as you could think of at the wall, knowing at least a few will stick.
Nothing on your list couldn’t also apply to an adult, especially those most privileged and entitled in society.
To add to the extensive information you’ve already been given, I would highly recommend the Anarchist FAQ, which is all good, but specifically section J breaks down the “what can we do about it” part.
The anarchist Library in general is a fantastic resource, another good place to start might be David Graeber’s Are You An Anarchist? The Answer May Surprise You! or Kropotkin’s Mutual Aid.
Happy exploring!
I mostly drink spicy chai, supermarket own brand, or twinnings if they’re on offer.

If you do all of those things, then the comic isn’t about you, is it? So why so defensive? 🤔
Hopefully the UKs situation improves from the past 14-15 years of the Tories rule
This is all the confirmation it takes. You’re close, but if you still think Starmer’s Labour is going to change anything fundamental about how things are run, you’ve not been paying attention.
Lmmfao, ok, if we’re going for context, you’ve managed to conveniently leave out a massive bit of it - that Sir Starmer, the current Labour leader and as much a part of the establishment as any Tori politician is, has not only publicly declared transphobic shit like men = penis woman = vagina, but is now also taking advice from Joanne herself, after she called him out for not being a big enough terf, and he in turn and without even blinking, willingly obliged to prove her wrong (and that he aspires to be just as prolific a transphobe as she is).
The idea that only Tories are responsible for the institutionalised transphobia in this country, and that blue Labour is going to do anything but continue toeing exactly the same line, is not only laughable, but glaringly and wilfully ignorant.
So yeah…
you’ve not been paying attention…
If you think those in power in the UK, widely known as TERF island, aren’t deliberately and actively trying to harm trans people (among others), you’ve not been paying attention,.
A compelling argument I’ve heard is that the greatest performance enhancing drug is being exposed to testosterone during puberty and that seems to be the base line a lot of the sporting organisations use
It might be compelling, but that doesn’t make it true (the testosterone in puberty part, not the sports organisations using transphobic rhetoric part, though as you can see bellow, even the International Olympic Committee, arguably the biggest global sports organisation, doesn’t advocate this thinking)
several key conclusions coincide with findings from the IOC funded study, including…Testosterone levels do not predict athletic performance or overall athleticism.
How the fuck has she been allowed to get away with it for so long I don’t know.
Those in power agree with her, and are probably glad she’s so willing to do their dirty work for them
Right, there are so many different reasons people would find this helpful.
Ah, but you see, these examples are about lesser people, that society shouldn’t have to consider or provide access for…
(heavy sarcasm on my behalf, but that’s the implication of this post and almost all of the replies)
but that’s not a hard fuckin book
For you.
JFC, is it really that hard for some people to see outside of themselves? 🤦♀️
We’re all learning, all of the time, being open to it just makes it more interesting!
I’m glad we’ve had this exchange, it’s honestly been really refreshing.
Yeah, the amount of ableism (and classism, racism) in the post and comments is fucking gross.
AI is a tool.
Are capitalists using it for evil? Sure.
Is this specifically an evil use?
Only if your goal is to exclude people who you see as lesser than yourself from accessing information you have the privilege to freely access.
Personally having the knowledge and ability to read books in general, but in what is often outdated (or not even someone’s first) language, unaided, doesn’t mean everyone does (or that everyone ever will be, even in whatever “perfect” world they like to imagine where people with different needs don’t exist), and making literature more accessible will only ever be a positive thing (again, unless someone’s goal is to exclude people they see as lesser than them, which evidently many do, in which case, rallying against accessibility aids is right on brand).
People need to get off their high horses and start aiming their anger where it belongs (how about the billionaire owned governments that ensure the population is poorly educated to make us all, yourselves included as is clearly evident here, easier to manipulate, or that exclude those of us with different needs and learning styles and classifies us as “burdens”, or the billionaires making billions more from commodifying freely available information), not join hands with oppressors and stomp anyone they consider bellow them.
I was so confused by the round white bits, my brain kept saying “mushrooms” because of the colour but also recognising it isn’t mushroom shaped, took me far too long to realise it was jalapenos covered in some sort of sauce/dressing… Either way, that looks grim.
Gaslighting the public in to maintaining the status quo for the rich and powerful…
E: and before the die hard liberals descend on me and accuse me of being a trump supporter because they can only see the world in blue or red - the alternative being worse doesn’t make your guy any good (nor did I mention the word “vote” - or don’t - once), it only proves that the system is rigged to never serve you. Now if only you were willing to confront this admittedly uncomfortable fact and move on from the fairy tale you’ve been sold, we might actually get some progress instead of treading water by “reducing harm” (all the while harm is not actually being reduced, we’re just being held hostage in exchange for it theoretically not getting worse)
I agree with everything you’ve said, just one tip: please don’t call us “differently abled”, we’re disabled, and there is nothing wrong with calling us that.
Otherwise, thank you for actually including us in the first place, not many people do.
