Go for it. I had great experience with it so far with my Cachy VM in Proxmox.
The only true headaches I faced were related to usb passthrough and bluetooth headphones when accessing it “directly”.

Remotely though, using Sunshine/Moonlight, it was a breeze.

Hey, I do the same. Not sure if its insomnia thing, but I often get fixated on idea or solving something, which keeps me awake and locked onto it even in bed. Started messaging the ideas when I found people with same “issues” like me.
