  • I didn’t feel like playing anything, so I started fiddling with all the different rgb zones I put in when I used to care about that sort of thing. I used openrgb to set my lights to respond to Temp and load of CPU an GPU, so then of course I had to play something demanding to make sure it worked properly, so I found some mods for risk of rain and now I’m into it again.

  • People have asked, and I’ll tell them what I’ve got if they’re interested, but I’m not proclaiming it by any means. Most don’t know that I have made several different firearms and custom attachments. My core group is outwardly some of the most peaceful people you’ll meet, self aware, kind, pro mental health, pro acceptance of any marginalized group, but also understanding of the importance of defending ourselves from the encroaching wave of modern fascism.

  • If you read the above comments, we’re talking about blocking specific games. Your low score is not hivemind, you just missed the context of the thread .

Steam is all or nothing, and if you block everything, some games won’t allow you to invite friends or join games, and it’s not just a switch to flip to turn back on for multiplayer. You have to go through several menus to change your settings. We’ve been asking for the ability to block specific games or just turn off participation in the feed for ages.

Also unlike Reddit, your points aren’t tracked and mean nothing here ,so there’s no point in worrying about downvotes.

  • Just give a quick “oh, thank you” in a pleasant, surprised tone. Comes off as gracious, but not conceited. Unless it’s something you can’t help, then it’s more charming if you act like it’s a skill in a cheeky way. I.e “wow you’re tall”

“Thanks I’ve been working on it”

It’s worth noting, you’ll come off as more awkward if you try to fire back a compliment yourself. It came organically to them, and isn’t necessary to mirror, unless you feel like they’re fishing.
