I agree, we can make fun of their idiocy, but… this some Jakarta Method shit.
It’s important to recognize the incredibly small number of coin tosses we are from rivers of blood and bodies.

While I agree that most who think this are probably just libs, there are probably also actual false flag anti-left shit-stirrers that try to do this. McCarthyism never truly stopped.
Epstein. Thats why.
Horseshoe theory is garbage, and so is your understanding of history, as well as where most of the nazis went after ww2 (Ukraine, NATO countries, including Canada).
Judging by your other responses in this thread, you need to stop kneejerking and actually do some journalism. I realize my comment isn’t gonna be the one that gets you to do some self-crit and maybe ask a few tough questions about the history of NATO but maybe over time you’ll come to realize we all have a lot more in common with each other than with those at the top who control narratives. Putin is dogshit, the Russian oligarchy is dogshit, but so is the vast majority of the dogshit coming from the West (the ones who also happen to have more power and, as you’re demonstrating, ideological fervor)
Until then, keep using tankie unironically against your perceived enemies, that word means very little to anyone besides fascists and the ill-informed.
Would you agree that it’s 3/4ths the US?
That vague argument could be made, but you are the one now making a claim, and I’d like to see you provide something that shows that, materially speaking, they don’t do whatever the US wants like, 90% of the time.
Like obvs there are other countries involved, but ultimately, do they do much without the consent or direction of the US? Like direct, concrete action, and not just fluff?
Meanwhile, in Canada, most of our Liberal and Conservative MPs gave a standing ovation to a speech about Charlie Kirk.
It’s all up here too, folks.
“At least we’re not the States!” My ass.
Works fine for me.
Well now it’s gone but the other link is even better lol
For the record, I agree with you, lol.
I was purposefully asking this person who seems to disagree. I wanted to know what they see in western media that seems more convincing, if anything.
So if both are just saying what their leaders want them to say, what do people do who want to find the truth?
Tom Cruise is just Tom Cruise to me, I never feel like he disappears into any kind of role - he’s just Tom Cruise pretending to be someone else who happens to look and act similarly to Tom Cruise.
With one exception, that being Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder 😆
I am not religious, but how in the ever-loving jesus-christing tap-dancing fuck do any right-wing Christians not feel that this is Revelations type shit?? Mark of the beast much? Trump already fits the antichrist label, too.
It would be funny but for the fact that these senile con men are ostensibly in charge of running a country…
Also, I suppose asking American Christians to read their own books is asking a lot.
All g. Sometimes it’s nice to rant openly about such things in a place where people feel similarly rather than look at you like you’re some kind of conspiracy theorist doomsayer.
BUT AT WHAT COST
Democracy is good when it can’t be completely subverted by a couple of rich international oligarchs spending billions of dollars in a dedicated mass media campaign over a period of decades that beams a literal firehose of lies, half-truths, and the glazing of any person/organization that willingly assists them and does everything in their power to destroy and denigrate anything that even comes close to undermining them at the cost of factual reality directly into the eyeballs of anyone who owns a screen…
But other than that democracy is generally preferred, yes.
Conservatives and media literacy are like oil and water. They can’t stop their knees from jerking long enough to get further than all but the most surface-level analysis.
He’s a pretty standard neoliberal but he’s fairly straightforward about it I suppose. He’s better than PP but that’s not a high bar at all.
At this point, people in Canada are scared of the Conservatives just bending over for Trump (myself included), so right now there’s a surge in polling for the Liberals, which I think would still be there if they ran a ham sandwich, nevermind Mark Carney.
More centrist people probably like the guy more. Whether he will beat the Conservatives? I don’t know anything anymore in North America. Canada has its fair share of right wing grifters and nutjobs.
When I was 10 my dad committed suicide and my grandparents told me we’d never be able to see him in heaven. Pretty much broke my little brain for awhile trying to understand how a just and loving God could separate a young boy from his father for eternity.
Never could, and now I’m a proud atheist disappointment to my grandparents.
Does it really add decency??? One of my favourite shows, Arrested Development, uses bleeps over swear words as pure comedy; the black bars are similar to me, they draw attention to the oddity rather than just call it what it is.
Nudity in general is fuckin silly, people should know about their bodies, everyone knows what a naked human looks like from looking at themselves, censoring non-pornographic nudity is stupid and only serves to intrigue and create mystique where it should simply inform and demystify.
