He’s a cop, and that’s cringe.
Meanwhile, the other half of Resident Evil 2 features a pretty woman who shoots big guns and protects a little girl, and she’s not a cop. That’s way hotter than cop Leon with his boyband haircut.

The notion that human beings are separate and apart from the natural world is colonialist nonsense.
The gameplay mechanic of… Turn based RPGs?
Hell yeah! My local book store cat Is named Spooky, because he was found in a cemetery
If I may, it’s less a matter of anyone consciously “rigging elections against third parties” and more a matter of the fact that the electoral system itself naturally trends towards a two party system. It’s called Duverger’s law.
These are the same freaks who screech about “realism” when there’s a woman in a game they don’t think should gave women.
I think it depends. Something realistic? I’d want ps3/ps4 level graphics. But for fucking Mario? That cartoony little shit does not have any reason having graphics at all superior to the fucking GameCube.
You’re missing my point.
I know full well where I’m posting. You’re talking about the importance of nuance, while painting all Hexbear users as somekind of monolithic hivemind.
Meanwhile, I a humble Hexbear user, am trying to ask a user from another instance, in good faith, to explain their ideological position in more depth. Because I earnestly want to know.
If you want to probe the “liberal=fascist” sentiment, we can. But that’s not the discussion I’m trying to have here.
You’re the pot calling the kettle black, my friend.
Unfortunately, in some corners of Lemmy, such as Hexbear or Lemmygrad, the ability to distinguish and discuss nuance is not included in what I would describe as their “community values”.
But I’m standing right here… Making a nearly identical point about liberals
If I may, can you clarify what you mean by
I am a liberal in the U.S sense. Not a leftist, nor a democrat,
In US political parlance, Liberal is typically synonymous with Democrats, and a broad, ill defined, ‘left’ of the political spectrum.
Outside the US, and in much of political science, liberal denotes a broadly centrist, status quo position, that can be left or right leaning.
And in neither of those definitions do liberals ‘want revolution’. At least not in the way that my fellow commies on Hexbear might typically conceive of it.
U.S. must stop providing weapons Isreal uses to kill anybody
Yeah, I’d love to see a chart of some kind, for this
Yo, that’s rad as fuck! Does anyone have a source for that quote?

Ketchup fucking sucks
It’s back?
The real liberalism all along, was reinventing the Protestant work ethic
The Studio Ghibli movie, Castle in the Sky fits that bill pretty well. Especially on the “old adventure vibe” front. It’s definitely got cozy and funny moments throughout, but all the guns and explosions might be a bit much.
But if you need stuff that’s pure cozy, Non Non Biyori is good, as is Yuru Camp. Not big on the fantasy or adventure part, unless you consider walking to the candy store, or going camping, to be adventures.
For something cozy and fantasy based: Hakumei to Mikochi is good too! It’s about a couple of lesbians who live in a tree, in a charming fantasy setting. It’s got big cottage core vibes.
I bought a Logitech mouse that lasted me well over a decade. That little trooper only finally gave out a few years ago. That’s the only kind of forever mouse that I need.
Love me some Milt Jackson! The soft tones of that vibraphone are great for background music while studying
