Ran into a mate of mine the other night who due to a mix up at the retailer had a spare 16gb kit of brand new DDR5-5200 and was looking at selling it on Marketplace. He fucking hates Meta (good bloke) and said for mates rates he’d give it to me for AUD $200 just so he didn’t have to reinstall Facebook.

Fucking sold. Same kit is currently “on special” for $369 on the site he bought it from. Prices are fucked.

Watching it on SBS in Australia, during the trophy lift i saw that orange fuck trying to stand next to the team, and after the shot one of the commentators said “they just just edit him out”, lol.

And they did! Every shot of the trophy lift afterwards during the telecast it was just Spain. Good shit SBS!

So being a Lenovo owner, I read through this article from 2022, and it doesn’t mention anything about spyware being embedded in the UEFI. It’s about a security vulnerability that was patched pretty much right away that could have given someone access to install malware, but besides the fuckup where the drivers from manufacturing were still included, there’s nothing about Lenovo hiding spyware in their firmware.
