Oh okay. It kind of looked like the pawn shop in that show and the art made me believe it could be him trying to sell. That show was heavily scripted to have funny and wild things happen so a guy in a mobility scooter also using a cane seems like something right out of their playbook.

I’m gonna have to buy morrowind and oblivion so I can play them I never knew about morrowind when it came out bc I didn’t play pc games yet and I bought a physical pc version of oblivion but my pc wasn’t good enough for more than about 20fps so I only played about an hour of choppy gameplay. If he releases it for free I don’t see how Sony can do anything. The Harry Potter fan film Heir of Voldemort was in the same boat. It was crowdfunded but released free and WB couldn’t touch it. How is this different?

There used to be a time I hoped Netflix would pick up The Last Man On Earth and now I hope they never find out it exists bc they’ll just make it worse somehow.

I find articles like that to be hilarious but I can’t help think maybe grindr themselves have a hand to play. They have existed for how many years now and they can’t afford servers that don’t crash bc of a relatively small gathering of people? I imagine the Super Bowl brings far more grindr users to where it occurs yet I don’t hear about it crashing. Same with actual gay pride festivals. Still funny though.

Currently rewatching Community as many times as it takes until I’m no longer in my depressed state. Recently finished The Mentalist which ended up being really good. Someone else mentioned Silo which I think is an extremely good slow thriller. Severance, also by Apple TV is just an interestingly odd show that hooks you pretty quick.

Tried it out for about an hour yesterday. I LOVE the explore tab they have. It felt like I was on Google/Ask Jeeves in the 90s. I came across a site ran by a curmudgeony linux enthusiast that predates Google, a dollz revival fan site, fermi (discord alt), a site where a guy writes extremely long in-depth reviews about retro video games, and a bunch of neocities pages (that really took me back).

Feels like I’ve been here forever but however old my lemmy account is is how long I’ve been off reddit.

If budget is constantly an issue, maybe try some wired iems that will last longer than wireless. I can easily recommend the tangzu wan’er 2 (3.5mm, not 4.4mm) as you get a quality mass produced cable, great eartips that hold up against sweat, and they are tuned better for vocals which translates well in audiobooks and podcasts. I’m not an all out audiophile but I dabble. That would cost about $25usd + shipping and then you can get a jcally type c dac for cheap. If you’re on an iphone, you can just get a lightning to 3.5mm dongle instead of the jcally or other dac. You can obviously still go wireless if you’d like.

Haha! A lot of us know Robbie now. I feel like when his movie came out, Europe figured it would be recieved as well as a movie about Michael Jackson but it just didn’t work out that way.
