1 year agoMeh, I suppose my hubby is going to want us to watch this. The first couple seasons were fantastic, but 3 was quite a drop in quality, and 4 was IMO laughably awful.

Dogtooth was my first Lanthimos film, and probably still my favorite.
6·1 year agoIt’s been flaky with my Pixel 6 from day 1. Sometimes it won’t connect at all. Other times it will drop connection in the middle of a drive. The latest annoyance is that about half the time when I plug it in the phone goes to USB Tethering instead AA and I have to change it.

I loved early Letterkenny, but the later seasons were more annoying than funny IMO
5·1 year agoTotal Launcher – I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere in the comments. When Nova sold out, I tried out a handful of launchers and landed on Total for the customizability.
Most of my favorites have been mentioned, but I haven’t seen The Party (1968) or Clue (1985) mentioned yet.
I don’t know musicbee so I don’t know if it’s similar, but AIMP has worked well for me. That said I haven’t used it in a while as I’ve primarily been using dsub to access my self-hosted airsonic server.

I need to get Mr Robot on my radar for a rewatch. Absolutely loved it. The use of music couldn’t possibly have been any better.
IMO Dark is one of the best shows anywhere.
I recall really enjoying that, but don’t recall it fondly enough to want to rewatch it.

So 18 is ok but 17 isn’t? On one’s 18th birthday one is magically transported into a vast maturity they didn’t have the day before? I know some 17-year-olds with vastly greater maturity and perspective than half the “adults” in the US!
