Not a single word of it was substantiated by them.

“Laser focus”, lol. You tried to justify the OF accusation and I explained why that’s bs.
As for the “whole thing”, your word doesn’t prove anything and your outright refusal to provide even an ounce of evidence for your deluge of accusations suggests I’m not the one acting in bad faith here.
Still nothing but your word that she’s “manipulating” anyone or anything.
And, breaking news, everyone uses that sub for advertising. Do you also get this self-righteous when creators link their patreon or other socials? How exactly is OF different?

3·17 hours agoClear your history and check for yourself. It’s not hard to do.
Lots of outrageous accusations without any evidence, with a bit of misogynistic sex shaming to top it off. Methinks you’re full of shit.
Is it because forest/mountain etc is not a creature type but a land type?
Yup. It can get confusing when non-creatures are animated, but other card types don’t count as creature types, even if the card becomes one on the battlefield.
Certain people get so pissy that Rian dared to add depth to a character, treating their original, basic Hero’s Journey story as peak writing that can’t ever be touched again. It tracks that you fail to see the possibilities left by TLJ.
It’s not ruining my day or anything, but the gacha game basically bribing their players to vote for them feels pretty lame.
And I mentioned it in another TGA thread, but for a 4.5 hour runtime, presenting roughly 10 out of 30 awards on stage with the rest being rapid fire announcements between walls of ads/trailers doesn’t feel great for an awards show.
Those two gripes aside, I did enjoy it overall. All the winners’ speeches were very sweet and nice to see, though clearly a rough year for most games not named Clair Obscur.
*Oh, also, that Divinity trailer was GNARLY. Like, holy shit.
the term…is rapidly expanding to be used more generally
“Rapidly” is one way to put it. It was basically instant. Like I said, it’s a bad word.

Yeah, TLJ totally ignored it all 🙄
And I already addressed a handful of the threads left by TLJ, so I won’t repeat myself.
And that’s JJ Abrams all over.
20 years ago I remember thinking he was the most talented writer out there. 100% bought into his whole “Mystery Box” spiel. Then, every single time, he failed to deliver on any of the compelling threads he started with, ending up in a meandering, meaningless mess if the property went on for more than 2 seasons/movies. Dude is a hack that convinced people that a lack of a plan was somehow clever.
I wouldn’t go so far as “dogshit”, but I agree that people look at the OT with heavy nostalgia glasses. Watching the movies objectively, the dialogue, story, and particularly the acting are all pretty rough. It’s all enjoyable still (I love them myself), but it’s far from the masterpiece a lot of people like to hold it up as. In truth, the franchise’s best asset was and is the universe around the stories, which does a fantastic job bolstering the less than stellar parts. And, thankfully, even a downright terrible movie won’t topple that.
Also, Luke straight up predicts she’ll be as powerful him and their father in RotJ. It didn’t come out of nowhere.

2·3 days agoTo be somewhat fair to Walt, he wasn’t doing it only for himself, the point was to make money for his family so when he’s gone they have a better life.
No, Walt was doing it for himself. The first attempt at cooking and the shit-show with Crazy 8 I can accept as a terrible mistake, but he was given a blank check by Elliott and Gretchen which he turned down because he felt powerful making drugs. The whole point of the show is watching a prideful, narcissistic man bring entirely avoidable ruin on himself, his family, and everyone around him.

“Precisely” would be getting a life size string-pull doll that says what she said and dressing it up like your dead grandma.
