I have just realized that in of 2020 TikTok was about to get banned in US by Trump administration and he even signed an executive order for the ban. But since he lost elections later that year, ban was reversed by Biden administration.

THE FUCKING SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED IN REVERSE IN 2025 when Biden’s admin ordered it to be banned in january and it was unbanned (postponed ban) 3 times with the last one lasting until September.

2 weeks ago I had an issue with my hardware Steam Link setup. For some reason picture would freeze but sound would still go. It is connected over ethernet so I ruled out connection issues. Googling lead me to nowhere. Adding “reddit” to search had no effect. Then I just decided to try chatgpt. It gave me few things I can try and lo and behold, second suggestion was what I was looking for.

There are things I would rather not ask LLMs. But when I have no clue what to even write in google search bar, I’d rather go for LLM because it can lead me to what I am searching for and from there I can continue my own research.

On a side note, my ads on twitch are basically “ad is in progress” screen and not an actual ad. And lately YT has couple of seconds with no video in the beginning as if it loads (1Gbit connection) but eventually loads up and plays with no interruptions after.

I live in a big city of an decently big country. Here we got many of them particularly around large train stations. I never give to them any money. Reason is - this country has a safety system in order to help people in need like this. If homeless people go against the rules (crime, drugs, abuse of the system) they get kicked out of the shelters. They get help with all sorts of things there and if they really are in dire situation and want to get back to normal life, they would get all necessary help they ever need and more. If they got kicked out, I believe they didn’t really wanted to get back their normal life. And in some cases, I see just youth smoking weed on the side of the street and begging for money. They are not in need, they have families and homes. They just collect money for weed. Fuck those guys, really.

I give money to street performers all the time. This brings life and color to the city.

I am freshly into selfhosting and am running Beelink s12 pro with Jellyfin on. Ripped tons of DVDs and about to get blu ray drive for ripping. Never paid a cent to Netflix or any other streaming sites. Dunno why my wife pays entry subscription to Netflix. Cant watch FHD or higher, got ads, cant mirror screen to a TV with entry subscription, no choice in what movies to watch, shows from competitors are not on netflix. Fuck this shit, man. I pay for DVDs and blurays anyday as long as I can chose what to watch and to keep it to myself.
