Pretty much always. There is even the documentary about the making of South Park called “6 days to air” because they famously do the entire episode in a week.
I really can’t remember when they didn’t do episodes weekly. Before Season 17 (when it was still 14 eps per season) they did two blocks of 7 episodes, but within the blocks the episodes were, as always, weekly.
Yeah, I’m aware they do episodes in a week. But I am still under the impression this isn’t the first time they release it every other week. Pretty sure they had other instances of taking a week break in between episodes

Yeah, especially in the first 3 seasons they had quite the wonky airing schedule. And at least once they missed an episode because they couldn’t finish it on time.
But for the vast majority of their run it has been weekly.

Up until covid, they always had an episode a week. They used to write, compose, voice and release it in less than 7 days.
