• Trump was appointed to the presidency after losing the election in 2016 to Hillary Clinton by the Electoral College. Hilary won by 3M votes or 2% of the vote.

Literally two presidents during my lifetime failed to win the popular vote and every time this occurred it was to the benefit of a largely unpopular political party who used technicalities built into the Constitution to overturn the democratic will of the people. Funny how it never has worked in the opposite direction, almost as if it was built-in with that idea in mind.

We do not have a democracy, we have a sham system that puts the interests of business before the interests of people.

Family values is not about creating healthy families, it is about patriarchy and the right of the parents to abuse their children.

Defending the sanctity of marriage is about defining LGBTQ people out of legal rights and entitlements.

School choice is about controlling what ideas not just their children are exposed to but their neighbors as well.

Every conservative position is a bad faith push to further their ability to control the lives others and their ideas deserve neither respect nor a platform.

The US is continuing to engage in genocide by acting as the world’s largest weapons supplier to supremacist nation-states (technically all nation-states as supremacist by definition) such as Israel. The US continues to impoverish it’s own people on top of that and murders tens of thousands of people every year through refusing to implement healthcare alone. All total, hundreds of thousands of people die every year due to poverty in the US, mostly minorities.

This is the same government that also knowingly puts poisons such as lead in our water, see any of the numerous small towns in Appalachia where water is undrinkable; Flint, MI; or Jackson, MS—the latter being a capital of a state.

Yes, the US is a dictatorship. Our elections are a farce. Any attempt at making things better through the electoral system is impossible because it was literally designed from the ground up to be a compromised system where the national oligarchy has the final say. It would take a revolution and the abolition of the US state to fix any of those long-standing problems which are built-in to the system.

As for the ethnic cleansing of minorities—Indian Reservations still exist and when measured are some of the poorest nations, states, and municipalities on the planet. They are literally designed to keep people down by keeping them poor and unhealthy. I’ve been to a lot of places, and few places are people more miserable. The neglect from the US government to fix these communities combined with the still continuing violation of treaties at the behest of US-based corporations are an ongoing genocide on a similar scale (if not distributed) as was is seen in China.

Let’s not pretend the US has any moral authority on the matter here.

“Hostile militaristic dictatorship” is just the United States. There’s almost zero difference between the US and China in those regards. The only real difference is that Chinese citizens are actually being lifted out of poverty at a rate not seen at any point in history while the US is continuing to impoverish their citizens. All fascist dictatorships included lots of rape. It is one of the defining social characteristics of authoritarian societies and was a present in the regimes of Mussolini and Hitler as well as their more modern counterparts such as the regimes of Saddam Hussein and ISIS.

The GOP is not ideologically opposed to government, they believe the government’s sole purpose is punishment, keeping people “in their place”, and engaging in grafting / racketeering. They have no issue stealing our tax dollars for the purpose of giving them to the police, military, and business subsidies.

People keep saying this but I’ve been around since Reagan and with every election cycle things get noticeably worse. The Democrats never keep their promises and continue to cede ground. The Republicans continue ramping up their antics. People said they had enough in 88, in 92, in 96, in 2000, etc etc.

Every time the American people fell for whatever was being peddled in front of them. As someone who is almost 40, I can tell you the only time I ever thought there might be positive change and people standing up for themselves and their communities at large was during the 2020 protests and pandemic. Surely, I thought this would be the beginning of something new.

But the media began to ignore things, social media algos quickly adjusted to bury protests and boost disinfo actors. Now I have to wonder just how much worse things will get if this is what we put up with. What will it take to get people to fight for their rights. If we wait until the government makes us (LGBTQ, etc) illegal it will be too late to act.

I honestly doubt most people will be moved to do anything to defend our rights, they don’t even care about their own until the police show up for them.

Not surprised. Prager U has been gunning for their propaganda becoming official school curricula for years. It was obvious from the start with their bad info-graphics style and the fact they have been pushing their channel on children for years with the help of YouTube’s algorithm. Fascists aren’t satisfied with keeping their politics to themselves, they want to forcefully indoctrinate your children behind your back in the classroom.

It’s time parents push back. Teachers need to strike. Students need to strike. Parents need to demand en-masse that this be removed from the curriculum or they will remove their children from the school. This is unacceptable.

Turn it on anyway. If they say amything it’s an OSHA violation. Also, record your interactions with management so it is documented. If they can surveil you, you can surveil them.

Show me a body or show me a craft. And do it in a way that is undeniable. This should not be that hard if the evidence actually were there. It’s a pretty simple conundrum. The obfuscation necessary to present these things as real would not be present if they were actually real.

As far as I am concerned the whole UFO phenomenon is a psy-op to keep bottom-scraping “researchers” busy, to promote the idea that the US in possision of superior alien technology (master race BS similar to late Nazi-era propaganda), and an attempt at getting other nations to waste money attempting to either “catch up” or attempt to spy on these assets. It also is a way for the military-industrial complex to go to Congree and beg for more money to combat these non-existant aliens and their phantom technology.

Every time I hear the phrase “under oath” I mentally replace it with “pinky promise” because it all has tbe exact same amount of weight. There’s no reason to assume someone is being truthful just because they promised you they aren’t lying.

Then there is the technicality of “if they believe it is the truth then they aren’t lying” so as long as other have convinced them enough for them to believe it, then they haven’t broken their oath.

This is just meaningless elementary school behavior from adults and anyone that can’t see that or thinks oaths and such symbolic social constructs are meaningful are not worth taking seriously.
