I’ve found that the motherboard is often the make or break item with PC builds. Pay attention to how many 1 star reviews there are on Amazon or wherever, I think they tend to suffer from poor quality control.
If you find yourself in a fight that you keep dying to, you may try exploring other areas to make progression elsewhere before coming back and trying again.
I would not use a third party app with ads, tho. Ads are a curse to the internet
I sure hope people aren’t deleting all their old useful guides and troubleshooting posts. Yesterday I was playing Stardew Valley, I had a simple question, so I duckduckgo-ed it and found some promising links on r/StardewValley, but StardewValley was private. Very frustrating. I hope this isn’t the norm. So, so far…that. I miss StardewValley. Besides that, I will miss r/bestofredditorupdates
Lol, I’ve put 120 hrs into TotK and I love it, and still haven’t finished all the side quests or shrines. I can’t get my wife to play past the tutorial, she’s disappointed that it doesn’t foster creativity like Garry’s mod
I was playing TotK and today I finally figured out a hint that I’d puzzled over for hours. It felt very satisfying to finally get the answer without using a guide.
This terrifies me…
No, it’s pronounced in two syllables, as so: “Ni-key”, with the first syllable pronouncing the I as in the word “I”. It’s named after the Greek goddess of victory.
I played vanilla Stardew Valley once, and now I’m on my second go around, and I’ve installed a bunch of qol mods so that I don’t have to keep checking the wiki and my collections to see if I should keep or sell this item I got because I don’t know if I need it for an achievement, and now I have a notification that it’s an NPC’s birthday and I can just check to see if I own or am carrying an item they have. It just makes the game less stressful for a completionist like me.
I actually pay the $2/month for squaredle.app for the extra features. I play this game while in boring meetings so that my mind doesn’t wander and I can keep my concentration on what people are saying.
That’s what I have too, and I also use it for torrenting. I put a dlna server on it, and works really well with my roku tv
I’ve been playing TotK since day 1 for over 100 hours and still haven’t run out of content. Breath of the Wild was my favorite game of all time, and Tears of the Kingdom easily beats it. I wonder if it plays well on Yuzu yet?
Daisy! She’s the beeest!
I use Arch with XFCE. Yes, it took a while to get running properly, and just the other day I went to print something and realized cups hadn’t even been installed yet, so I spent 15 minutes getting my printer up and running, so I totally get that it’s not for everyone. I like it because of the detailed wiki with great tutorials and instructions on getting things working, like the one I used to get a nextcloud installation working on my computer. And I like it because of the extensive Arch User Repository, so I know I can install whatever I like. I mostly just play Stardew Valley and trackmania on it. I’ve used Manjaro before and enjoyed that too, and it comes with all the benefits of arch.
I installed Mint on my friends computer, which works totally fine, but I don’t know how it is for gaming; she definitely doesn’t game.
