Yeah I was pretty disappointed when my server started limiting what political servers I see by default. I want it to show up and then choose for myself, not have to sell out every community. Their supposed to just showvup. It’s not like they were nazis or porn even.

That’s clearly the intention, but I’m not so defeatist. I think we’ll absolutely go to war as an attempt at distraction. But I think they’re really scared, and if they are I trust that we still have a chance at some real consequences. I don’t trust that Donald Sr. will live to see any, but I think many other people will.

Online anonymity also let’s people forget that the people they’re being assholes too have real feelings. It’s not just retaliation that stops them. Most of us really don’t want to hurt someone, but some need a reminder that online folks are just as real.

They cook it and sell it as a rotisserie chicken to recoup the losses. They’re usually only selling it at a loss because that’s the alternative to throwing it out.

When I met am otherwise neurological adult who gets hung up on what others choose to do with their free will, all I can think is “grow the fuck up”

The people I know personally who act like it’s so terrible to be helping someone else have all received significant assistance from the government and their communities.

I don’t care if it’s forever. Everyone deserves to eat and a place to sleep and everyone deserves to know that they will still have food and a safe place to sleep later. Just don’t try to keep it from others once you’re back on your feet.

This isn’t four heat of the moment deaths. This is farming people in a way we haven’t seen at this scale for a long time.

As far as I can tell they’re set for marketing reasons, but they actually represent meaningful epochs and how those events effected people in different stages of life.

World war, depression, postwar expansion, civil rights, cold war, internet, smartphone.

Making them all fifteen or twenty-five years doesn’t make sense.

I’m hopeful that we’re in the midst of a right wing extinction burst that will be over in 5-10 years. They will get to participate in the rebuilding that follows.

I’m fearful that we’re seeing the launch of a new dynasty.
