Same here. I tried a couple Ioniqs and some KIA’s. Went with a 2024 Kona. It’s been great!

I played through a few demos and bought Dome Keeper. It reminds me of the Motherload flash game.
I also played part of the Eternal Strands demo. The telekinesis is fun. Making ice walls and freezing parts of enemies is cool. It has all the hallmarks of a game I would have loved 10 years ago. I still think it’s cool but I am terrible at finishing story games.
The rest of the time was spent troubleshooting my Steam Link setup with my desktop and TV. Idk if it was the demos, pop-os, or a hardware issue, but my PC froze several times. I’m going to hopefully fix the network with some MOCA adapters today.

Than you for the thoughtful reply.
I think I’m passionate about helping people use technology effectively. Recently (years) it’s been difficult to find specific software interesting. But I will jump at a request to help a friend with their computer.
I’ve got a home server but it’s mostly just for Jellyfin, and it’s just in Docker because i’m lazy 😅.
Kubernetes is neat, but most companies that use it are large corporations. It’s been difficult to find a place where I can use my powers for good. I just need a six figure job where I help old ladies use e-mail.

The Bloodline has been on my list for a while. I haven’t grabbed it yet due to time, but it looks fun.

I have several Kubernetes clusters at work. They seem to have the opposite effect. Please advise, I do not have a sailboat.

I saw it with my wife. Neither of us are big horror fans but we both agreed the movie is well done. The movie isn’t flashy, but it has solid writing and good performances.

It is the first long module I’ve run. Still going after 3 years (we’re slow). My players say they’re enjoying it but I’ve spent so long trying to fix things I might as well be home brewing.
I think anyone that wants to use a module to simplify GMing (like me) should choose anything else. Anyone that’s ok with home brewing doesn’t need the module. Maybe read the plot overview at the beginning and fill in the blanks.
I guess there’s gotta be some uplifted plants out there. They’ll probably have to fight the grey fungus.
I will second this. After college I realized I needed to expand my social circle. I agonized for weeks about even asking to join a few local Meetup groups. Eventually I did, and I convinced myself to go to a few events. I started framing social outings as exercise. It wasn’t always fun, but I usually felt good about making myself go.
I still get anxious about social stuff. I still loath job interviews. I don’t like packed bars or events with thousands of people, but I can handle them better now. I can now give myself permission to fuck up a bit.
"Was that social encounter my best work? No.
Was I actually a jerk and everyone hates me now? Also no.
Cool then. A ‘C+’ is still passing!"
“What’s the worse that can happen (socially)?” is now a helpful question. “What if strangers think I’m weird?” IDK, then they do. That’s their problem. And if they remain strangers then I probably won’t need to deal with them again. If they think I’m weird and they still invite me back then at least my weirdness was within acceptable limits. And that’s how I met my wife :)
