The 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass cruiser had a curb weight of almost 4,500 lb. Compare that to my Subaru WRX, which is fairly heavy for a modern car and has a curb weight of less than 3,500 lb…

21·2 个月前The only reason they offer these “degrees” is so that women will pay for college with the entire goal of meeting a man and dropping out. Percentage of completion on what is commonly known as a “MRS” degree (Mrs.) is incredibly low.

3·2 个月前Fun/not so fun fact, the two counties in the 48 contiguous states with the most guns per capital are both in Idaho. Then comes Wyoming and Montana. Plus these states are statistically in better physical condition than the south. 2 loses in every scenario, and quickly.

There is no way the number is that low. Also, unlikely that Biden is 0.

38·4 个月前Maintaining the moral high ground will not ensure you a victory over an entirely immoral enemy. One of the reasons Hitler was able to grab power is because his opponents refused to break the rules to stop him.
I understand all of that. I understand the GOP cheats by restricting voting, I understand the Nazis where I live are evil. My point is that your strategy of “blow everything up and kill everyone til they can’t be evil anymore” requires a worldview that is not yet fully developed. We need to keep winning people to our side.
Remember the quote from V for Vendetta “The building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world.”
It’s called reality. Look, I don’t know anything about you, but when I was 19 I thought we could just destroy all the evil in the world too. But 20 years later I have come to the realization that the world isn’t that simple. Sometimes we have to bear it and focus on the little things we can change until we win over enough people to change the world.
There is no way you think Nepal and Myanmar can compare to the US… The only similarity is death at the hands of our government.
And what good does destroying a flock camera do? They will arrest you using the footage and put a new one up tomorrow. There is no way you would destroy a government camp without getting killed, they would just rebuild.
The point is, our movement doesn’t have enough people yet for any of those measures. And if you start getting violent the number shrinks significantly.
One thing to remember is that, unlike European countries and other smaller countries with basically one major city, the US is gigantic, both in land size and in number of huge cities.
When France’s government is tyrannical, everyone can gather in Paris and fight the police. After all, it’s just a few hours drive. I live in Idaho, to drive to DC would take 4 days of 12+hours driving each day, and getting the people to rise up in every major city is a near impossibility. There simply aren’t enough people who are willing to fight back in the same manner.
Also, you fight back in England or France you might get tear gassed or arrested. In the US they will murder you, as they have done to even peaceful protestors.

How wonderful it must have been for her to have such a caring and loving friend as you. Days like these suck shit for those of us who live on but Linux clearly led a blessed life.
