I’ve seen a lot of people say this and while I’m someone with probably one of the most severe cases of ADHD I know of, and who has been personally the target of the term a lot my entire life I tend to fall in the camp of something I personally dislike the use of, but i don’t feel as intensely about it as I do derogatory uses of like gay or the f word.

I mean I haven’t been following for a few years, but if you genuinely wanted to of the line processors when it came to single threaded computing, AMD just wasn’t competing with Intel for awhile. Multi threaded was another story though, and it continues to pay off more for AMD now that more games and programs are able to utilize those additional cores more effectively.

I’m a software developer for a consultant company that primarily works with government agencies. We also do work for some non profits and a handful of corporations.

I told my boss when I got hired on that I would want to have say in what type of clients I worked with. They said it was agreeable and that they let all workers have a voice in accepting new contracts, so hopefully it works out. Only been there a few months.

If they took on a contract with the DoD or something similar I would immediately start looking for a new job though

There’s this implication that the same number of people required for reform are required for Revolution and that is not necessarily the case. Revolution can include a large majority of people, but if it did, it’s more likely that a relatively peaceful revolution would be able to take place. Violent revolution is typically thrust upon people. Not everyone will want to or is equipped to be able to do a revolution. It’s not like every American colonist was behind the American revolution. Many were loyalists, many fled, and many did fuck all and watched it happen around them. Some did a little, some did a lot.

All that really required is enough people organized to fight off the people who would fight to keep the current state alive.
