I really struggled to find a good colorblind filter for linux similar to the ones available for Windows / Mac / iOS which have been excellent for me. There was some gnome filter someone once recommended to me that was the closest I’ve seen to something sufficient, but it was ineffective for me and I’m still hoping a better solution comes along.

It would be worth it to reach out to a few devs for the DE you use and offer to help them implement colorblind support.
