Either do the Iraq route where they try to not speak about it, or at least not more than one sentence “i wasn’t supporting this”, do the stab in the back narrative, or go into complete denial. I mean just go to lemmy.ml World News and read some recent threads about war, “Ukraine go to Moscow, Russia surrenders” is still popular narration there, and on reddit where any alternative informations are immetiately moderated it’s much worse.
