🏖 The next #PrivacyPride will be held on September 23rd!
🇪🇺 As some of you may already know, the governments of the EU Member States are planning to adopt their official position, called the “general approach”, on the Child Sexual Abuse Regulation (for ChatControl friends 😅) at the meeting of ministers of Justice and Home Affairs of 28 September 2023.
💪🏼 It is appropriate to mobilize quickly, in order to raise the attention of public opinion, which has so far been very insensitive, to this epochal change in the rule of law and the inviolability of correspondence.
🚸 One of the strong points of the enemies of privacy is the protection of children, precisely those children that states abandon in the hands of the large centralized platforms now universally adopted in schools.
🔞 But as we know, there is a type of children’s privacy that is of interest to politics and a type of children’s privacy that does not seem to be of interest to those who govern… 😁
🏙 The objective will therefore be to organize many demonstrations in Italian cities and, if possible, also in some European cities.

❤ The theme of Privacy Pride will be this: “children and privacy: ignored when their privacy needs to be protected, but exploited when it comes to decreasing that of all citizens”.
