🇱🇧🇺🇸🇮🇷 The level of contradiction within this group is extremely high. They prevented Iranian planes from landing at Beirut airport, and everyone knows the pretext was the money!
Iran offered, and even allocated, funds for reconstruction after 2024, but the government supported by these people did not respond.
Many other things happened as well, including alignment with Washington, which refused reconstruction and tied it to disarmament—a stance supported by some Lebanese.
Now they are raising a petition demanding that Iran pay compensation for the war, for what “Israel” destroyed! They did not raise a petition demanding compensation from “Israel”!!!
What kind of people are these?!
It should be noted that Iran will help Lebanon with reconstruction, alongside other countries.

I would love to understand better the mood in Lebanon towards this sellout ‘government’. I know its a complex picture but I would be astonished if the public is not drifting away from them. Does anyone have any insight or materials on this?
Lol at this point the main guy I talk to about the war is just starting every conversation with WHEN IS HEZBOLLAH GOING TO COUP THEM & it is a good reminder that I need to read more about their internal politics I wish I knew how it all works. I still stan though
