There was a merch drop for TADC immediately after the pilot so it’s been pretty commercialized from the get go
Indie hasn’t meant anything in forever. You don’t get to pretend to be indie when you have a multi million dollar budget and are licensing an album’s worth of 90s pop slop for your three hour long “indie” game. Not that “real” indie is even a badge of pride. Small business tyrants and artisans the lot of them.
