More than half reckon they couldn’t last more than a day without cloud services
A cloud provider is a single point of failure, even if it advertizes redundancy. Any org can be cut out if the account gets closed, or a miscunfiguration gets deployed on all the provider sites.
Some privacy and data security regulation might be in order. Force European companies to move off cloud services they don’t control.
Less money leaking out of european hands, in to american oligarchs too. The same guys trying to destroy democracies accross the globe.

Doesn’t change the fact that any cloud company has the access to access or close customer’s accounts at will, and with the US legal system, the government can and do order companies to do shady stuff.
The entire shift from on-prem to the cloud where the only real alternatives are companies in the US is absolutely insane.
Trusting the usa is obviously as silly as trusting any company that emulates US ‘morals’
If companies want privacy they need to consider taking a step back to on-site storage.
If customers want privacy, they might be shit out of luck.
