Imagine going to a page meant for people who don’t want children and telling them they’re dramatic for not wanting children and not wanting to overturn their entire lives for something they don’t want.
At least you tried something different than “you’ll change your mind”
Personally I scroll “all”, so “going to a page meant for …” is not a specific action I took, and likely the same for the person you replied to
Having a universal etiquette for the whole threadiverse isn’t viable though, so it makes sense for it to be considered rude to drop a comment without at least looking at what community the post is in.

Not sure how this is any more dramatic than any of the myriad of social media posts around breeding rituals (gender reveals, baby showers, etc).

Its not the end of the world. Just the end of your world for the next few years or decades. However, it’s the poor man’s cloning/age reset. Yes its another individual that shares attributes with someone else (hence all the love bullshit) and you gotta train it to be like you want but its the only method we have.
It takes a lot of balls or abject stupidity to bring someone into this shit. And then they have the audacity to suck at the training bit. Finally, welcome to endless obligation and toil for inhuman monsters until you are too old to be useful and then you die. Thanks mom.
The potential issue is that the barrier to entry is low and doesn’t require any guarantee that a person is equipped or committed to a baby who doesn’t know literally anything.
It’s challenging, resource intensive, takes time, patience, sacrifice, and communication. I don’t recommend that folks that don’t have the capacity or desire to mess up the good thing they’ve got going.
At the end of the day it’s a personal choice that requires introspection and hopefully some planning.
The nice thing about life is that, for the most part, you can choose your own adventure and how your story unfolds.
