I thought it could be fun/interesting to go through an autism test question by question, and see what resonates with people, and how we approach thinking about the questions. So to start, here’s question 1 of the AQ-10.

1. I often notice small sounds when others do not.

    Definitely Agree

    Some examples:

    • I always hear the high pitch noise that some phone chargers or other “switching” power supplies do. And it bothers me
    • I can hear neighbors with television turned on at night, even if at low volume. Sometimes it keeps me awake
    • mosquitos in a room also keep me awake :-(
    • my bike mechanics have to be perfect. I hate any unnnecessary noises
