quindi i messaggi tra utenti Lemmy funzionano, ma l’interfaccia web è orribile al limite dell’inutilizzabile. I messaggi con utenti mastodon non funzionano. Direi che è un punto su cui si può migliroare.

Ricordo che inizialmente era sconsigliato l’utilizzo per via di problemi di sicurezza ma forse ad oggi sono utilizzabili senza problemi.

avevo provato parecchio tempo fa e non funzioanvano. Ora ti sto usando come test, ti ho mandato un messaggio da questo account lemmy e uno dal mio account mastodon. Ovviamente ocme dici tu, non sono cifrati. Però per uno scsambio senza scocciare tutti possono servire

Oggi ho scoperto che Photon UI fa qualcosa di interessante a riguardo.

Carino e utile, ma sembra un po’ un “workaround” per una caratteristica che manca lato server. Meglio che niente!

Io invece migliorerei alcune dettagli:

• supporto delle bozze lato server, così da ritrovarle sul client web se le ho salvate dal client su android

• messaggi diretti, che possono essere sicuramente utili

• la resa dei post su mastodon secondo me non è il massimo. Solo il titolo spesso è limitante. Ma non so se questo sia un problema di come Lemmy confeziona il messaggio o come Mastodon lo visualizza. Sicuramente so che Friendica ha lavorato per migliorare proprio questo aspetto

I don’t think that Reddit is so much better. The interface at the moment is full of ads that make i confusing. The only thing is the community search that is a bit cumbersome, but this is due to federation, and understood. On the other hand the federation with Mastodon/Friendica/whatever is super-powerful, hand honestly enjoyable
