I’ve seen a few comments that are “commenting to comment” but that’s not going to keep things going long term, I agree with you that while we need posts/comments, we need quality in those comments as well.

We need some amount of activity to keep the community alive, no content means noone scrolling which means noone posting good stuff
Needs to be a certain amount of mildly interesting crap because there isn’t an infinite supply of good content and we need to sustain a userbase
