Yes, though I can see the psychological reason behind it. Not only are you visibly in time out filing the sheet out, but you basically kind of have to be honest about it because it’s your handwriting and the teacher may present it during meetings. You can put a fake signature on it but then your parents will be like “huh how come you never brought this to my attention”
