Honestly almost all of the response by leadership vs users is temp bans, so I’m thinking actual damages aren’t even that bad? But the blood is up so maybe cooling down while whatever behind the scenes stuff gets figured out might be good.

I really liked Symphony of War: The Nephelim Saga. The story is mid as hell but the gameplay scratched an itch that I didn’t know I had (this was before Unicorn Overlord). It’s Fire Emblem but your units are squads that have fun class dynamics that are cool without being so complex it needs player scripting. A few of their character designs are kinda , but not uncommonly so.

The devs literally edited my save file after a big patch broke my save and sent it back to me, so I’m partial to them.

Yeah, I can see where you’re coming from. Only looking at some of the SRD stuff, it looks like Blades gives you 7 dots across 12 actions? The hack that I was playing (Blades of the Immortals) had 6 dots across 9 actions and spilled a lot of ink to stress that making the players feel incompetent is bad and should be avoided, partially due to the genre being more dramatic than grim and grimy.

From my understand of running a single Forged in the Dark session Saturday, I would have thought that just relying on conditions and debuffs in general isn’t the intention, and they want you to be creative and use clocks and have narrative or situational consequences be tied to them.

It’s like when people lay low after being caught up in a scandal, they’re actually being disappeared by the government

3gatsu no Lion is my all time fave, just some deeply empathic storytelling with the Shaft aesthetic while also not being problematic like the Monogatari Series nor being about magical girls.

Vampire the Masquerade, if only because I’m not into being bad guys. Love the vibes, vamps are fun, but I find it just a little too dark to want to RP as or write about.

Same with Fire Emblem 3 Houses, multiple bi and some gay romance options. And Edelgard is the Empress of the Proletariat. You can romance your (former) students so maybe it’s on there for libertarianism?
