Gamer expectations are crazy high. Fall out 4 was objectively a decent game, and you could do nearly anything you wanted in the game and it had branching narratives. Some people will just never be happy.

I still have a reddit account, but I mostly only use it to look at video game development stuff, and even that is getting less useful with all the AI slop out there.

I used the Reddit is Fun app for like 15 years. The second they took that away I was gone.

They can try, but there’s more of us than them. The entire U.S. military with all it’s funding has never won a war against insurgency. (Although they will say they have)

AI sucks bcz it hallucinates (a fundamental flaw of all LLMs), increase electricity costs, water usage, and their overall environmental footprint. Pick your favorite bcz there’s a lot of reasons to hate AI other than, the “free models aren’t good”.

We’re already pretty close to open civil war. Might as well rip the bandaid off and get it over with i guess. I’d rather not, but that’s the way things seem to be going.
