I am playing it right now! It was at 20% sale a few days ago. Don’t know if it’ll get even more discounted later.

It is nearly perfect for the deck. I only have a small grievance with moving things in the inventory. It takes a long while to step through the slots. But maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Tunic is also on my wishlist. Crossing fingers!

I enjoy writing by hand, but I do look forward to a good e-ink device (Products like the remarkable have a subscription model and it’s closed hardware and software, which is a big negative to me). Waiting to see how projects like PineNote evolve.

For now I just write on which ever notebook is closest to me. The act of writing is more important than actually storing information somewhere outside of my head.

This is just a teaser and I’m looking forward to the finished images.

However it always amazes me how disappointingly non-detailed pictures of planets can be even on the most powerful telescopes. Because they’re that far away! It takes something like Cassini going all the way there to give us a better look.

That said, the most powerful view of Saturn for me was the one I saw with my own eyes through a local telescope. It was just a little blurry thing but just actually seeing it there with the ring shape with my own eyes was indescribable.

A roundabout in my home city was turned into an elevated 4-way intersection. It wasn’t an improvement. When I visualize the city I always see the roundabout. It was there all my life.

As soon as I read this, the song started playing automatically in my head. Along with most of the visual sequences, and Richard Dean Anderson’s smile.

I take meds and I will never fold. Best I can do is actually doing the laundry.

I am continuously surprised that some people sleep under a single blanket. This is not a custom where I’m from. I wouldn’t be able to relax!

This actually sounds like a good way to deal with it.

My package deliveries usually say something crazy like ‘between 9 and 16’ and… There goes the day.

It’s the fact that it’s not even relaxing. It’s just there, in mild dread.

It’s always jarring when people expect something like reddit and find something else that looks almost like it, but it’s actually different. It helps to get reminders that it’s not reddit and it doesn’t have to be. And that this is actually a good thing.

For me, it helps that I’m old and used to spend time in forums with small communities, but for younger people this may never have been a thing. It’s a little exciting to think about someone being exposed to it for the first time, if they stay long enough to see the benefits.

I like the part about how this is not meant to be a resilient information exchange. protocol. I also do see the ability to defederate as a very useful tool rather than an jnstrument of censorship.

I have blackout curtains but somehow my brain isn’t fooled and I’ve been sleeping very little as a result.

For me, unless it fits in the mailbox, you have to be ready to receive a package. I thought about it for days only to forget about it this morning when it arrived. Luckily I was at home.
