  • This. My husband is approximately the same height and weight I am; we have the same waist measurements and if I’m being honest he looks hella good in my pants.

However, I can barely get his jeans over my hips and they’re too tight in the thighs. Not too mention the awkward kangaroo pouch crotch area.

We both wear men’s goodfellow PJ bottoms from target (because POCKETS) and I wear a medium, he wears a small because he doesn’t have hips.

  • Consistently relying on weed to give you an appetite can make you dependent on it to feel hungry. Note how most heavy long term smokers you know are thin as rails.

If you happen to have this problem, however, a meal replacement drink like Soylent can be a godsend. It’s pretty hard to eat a nutritious 2000 calories if you have to wait until you’re really high at 9pm to start eating.

  • Yep. I I had no appetite, severe insomnia, headaches and sweats for about 1-2 weeks when I came off of my heavy use, decade long pot habit. It felt like the flu. I’m glad I found r/leaves or I wouldn’t have known those were withdrawal symptoms that would eventually go away!

I never plan to touch the stuff again.

  • My state has plastic shopping bag bans across (most of?) the state and I feel like it’s completely backfired.

Now, instead of those thin plastic bags everyone used to get, people are charged 20 cents for a “reausable” bag, which is still a shitty bag that no one seriously reuses or wants, but it’s thick plastic, like thick, crunchy, and indestructible. Maybe double the plastic waste.

I TRY to remember my (actual) reusable bags, I really do. But sometimes I forget and I wind up with these big thick bags I don’t want to reuse and wind up throwing out or “recycling” (which probably means shippibg then to the Philippines).

I also do curbside grocery pickup frequently and the ONLY option is to get those thick “reusable” bags with your order. Otherwise the grocery employee (who can’t accept tips) will need to individually place each item in my car one at a time.

The thin plastic disposable bags were better. Paper bags would be better. This 20 cents for a “reausable” bag loophole is total bullshit.
