Wait, does that also mean that if you’re a sperm donor, and someone willingly uses your sperm, they can then claim child support from you since the court apparently considers you one of the parents.
As I understand it normally these cases are exactly what sperm donations are for, to protect from this.

Oh absolutely. Not only that, but all this fuss about lgbtq and abortion is to enable persecution of non-reproductive sexual activity. Along the lines of “you will breed more workers for the machine.”
I wouldn’t say medieval, but there appears to be a strong tendency to autocratic and backward-looking, conservative rules - and not only in the “anglo-saxon” world. We see this in countries like China (see here and here, for example) and many other. For example, see here.
