As a former engineering tomboy failure, out of sheer curiosity - are there any femboys in mechanical and electrical engineering now? It was such bastion of manliness, compared with science and maths.

There are a few, but it’s nothing like the near-saturation numbers you find in compsci.

i did mechanical and didnt see any visible femboys, but i turned out to be a trans woman so theres that. although i ended up studying controls and being a gnc engineer so im pretty far from the typical mechanical engineer anyway. i know some mechanical engineer furrys though.

Was an engineering major, along with my gay best friend. Biggest things between me and drag back in the day were time and money. Having the time and money now, looks like its time for me to complete that degree!

My buddy switched to CS to graduate earlier, but he told me he’s going back for ME, EE, Chemistry, if I ever do. The entourage must ride again…

I’m a big fan of gen Z as a whole but as a millennial, it’s definitely annoying when they pretend to be the originators of some internet thing that existed long before them

… but that would make for such an amazing drag name!! Why waste it on the straights? Shit, I guess I just disqualified myself from using it, and it really should go to a person of color for full-effect anyways…
