Last year in August 2025, I published my article Jews are NOT Oppressed: The Myth of Systemic Antisemitism. In it, I included an exhaustive list of polling data I gathered from around the internet on the opinion of Jews worldwide towards Israel. Most of the surveys were conducted after the start of the 2023 Gaza genocide. The results showed consistent and overwhelming support for Israel among the global Jewish population, with a rough weighted total average of over 85%.

In this article, I decided to go through newer polling data released since August 2025 to see if things have changed a year after I published my initial findings. Below is a summary of results from surveys I found of American, Canadian, British and Israeli Jews in descending order of recency.

The results show that while favorability toward Israel has declined compared to previous years, it remains in the majority across all countries. A majority of Jews polled also do not even consider Israel’s actions in Gaza constitute a genocide. Most importantly, the question at the core of Zionism—whether Israel should exist as a Jewish state—still commands overwhelming approval.

Israel’s Right to Exist as a Jewish State • US: 72-87% support Israel’s right to exist; 66-83% say denying this is antisemitic.

• UK: 81-82% support its right to exist.

• Canada: 92% support its right to exist.

• Israel: 87% say Zionism is not racist; 85% identify as Zionist; 1% as Anti-Zionist.

Attachment to & Favorability of Israel:

• US: 55-71% have a favorable view or feel emotionally attached to Israel; 63% say supporting Israel is important to their Jewish identity; 70-83% view Israeli people favorably.

• UK: 75% feel emotionally attached.

• Canada: 69% feel emotionally attached. Views on the Gaza War & Genocide

• US: 73% say Israel’s immediate response to Oct. 7 was justified; 42-46% say ongoing operations are justified; 49-78% deny genocide.

• UK: 81% deny genocide.

• Canada: 70% say Israel’s actions are legal/legitimate; 87-90% deny genocide; 64% do not blame Israel for famine.

• Israel: 71-92% rate the IDF highly; 68% want Israel to stay in Gaza; 61% deny famine reports.

Aid & Arms to Israel:

• US: Only 26% support stopping financial and military assistance; 59% support sending more arms.

• Canada: Only 20% support an arms embargo on Israel; 71% support increased aid to Israeli civil society. Antisemitism & Anti-Zionism

• US: 83% say too many critics of Israel use antisemitic tropes; 38-54% view certain anti-Israel actions as antisemitic; 89% say anti-Zionism is linked to antisemitism.

• Canada: 45% say calling Israel "apartheid” is definitely antisemitic; 45% say calling it “genocide” is definitely antisemitic.

• Israel: 78% say anti-Zionism is linked to antisemitism; 68% say boycotts are antisemitic.

Based on the latest polling evidence, little has fundamentally changed. While favorability toward Israel and approval of its conduct have shifted somewhat, overall support for Israel—particularly its status as a “Jewish state”—remains nearly unchanged, with the vast majority of Jews continuing to back the Zionist project, even as they express reservations about its current government.

So one must ask: given the facts presented here—nearly three years into a genocide carried out by the “Jewish state,” by Jews, for Jews, at the expense of non-Jews, with the overwhelming support of Jews worldwide—why does the Western “pro-Palestine” movement spend so much time and energy doing free PR for Jews? Why go so far as to lie on their behalf about what they actually believe? The Western left loves to talk about “centring voices.” Well, this is what they’ve said. So why speak over them?

  • There’s a lot of voices here about the accuracy of this poll and I would like to chime in as a Jewish person, I can confirm this poll is overwhelmingly accurate from personal experience.

The grand majority of Jewish people support the genocide and its pretty obvious why. Its not because Jewish people are uniquely evil or somehow more prone to propaganda. Its because nearly every school, religious institution, Jewish secular institution, and Jewish org is either controlled by zionists, paid off by zionists, or too scared to offend Zionists.

For the most part not only are antizionist Jews rare but they don’t organize, there is no massive antizionist Jewish org and no major Jewish org would take upon any position even critical of the zionist entity.

For any Jewish person who does take upon these positions publicly they can expect condemnation, social isolation, or even a total blacklist from all Jewish orgs and communities. They can expect active hostility from ther peers and organizations representing the Zionist occupation.

This is not an excuse, I am by no means providing an excuse for my own people but rather explaining. Of course all of this is no reason to support genocide and on an individual level every Jew should be antizionist. If we as Jews want things to change and anyone here who isn’t Jewish want things to change everyone needs to stop making excuses.

      • I have said this before and I’ll say it again, I 100% support the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist entity. No state has a right to exist especially one built on stolen land. Also I see myself being Jewish as the least important part of my identity in my daily life, I was simply sharing my perspective from my own experiences.

Above all else the only identity that I truly have is that I am a worker

The people attempting to make excuses for this or who try and question the motives of the original author are revealing themselves either to be zionist or gullible enough to have fallen for the zionist counter-insurgency against the anti-Israel movement. Personally, if a poll came out on the worldwide opinion of white people on white nationalism and showed an overwhelming support for these things across multiple countries, no one here would be making these kinds of arguments. If 92% of white Canadians were revealed to be neo-nazis, no one would shy away from saying something about it. If 63% of Americans said it was important to their identity to support the existence of a white ethnostate, no one here would be trying to say that we should centre “white voices” in the struggle against that ethnostate. If 87% of white South Africans were found to claim that apartheid isn’t racist and 85% identified themselves as white nationalists, no one here would be trying to defend that or be playing PR defence for them.

      Copying here for better visibility:

      How antisemitic of you!!!

In seriousness, as a Palestinian, I see jewish zionists as the top of the caste system in the west, not just in “israel”.

I would say “white jewish zionists” but that’s not even the case since I knew a korean girl adopted by a jewish zionist family reaping the benefits just as much as her white counterparts.

Norm Finklestein even said it himself, there are many benefits to being jewish, and the default assumption in the workplace or in academia is that if you are jewish you are zionist until proven otherwise. You can get jobs out of college much easier, just based on your last name alone, you can’t even call it nepotism because you don’t even need any kind of relationship with someone beforehand for them to give you preferential treatment, how is it not a caste system?

Jewish zionists have many privileges over white people, for example, they can decide at any moment they want to live somewhere else, and they can just move to another country and steal somebody else’s house. It’s a privilege granted to jewish zionists that even white americans don’t have.

If they need to evade the law, they can seek refuge in the illegitimate state, they don’t even need to have money for that kind of privilege! Many middle-to-lower-class, non-exceptional pedophiles from the US have sought refuge in “israel” over the years.

One can’t even criticize the illegitimate state publicly without smear campaigns, bank accounts closing, and frivolous lawsuits. The media also does everything it can do subvert attention away from zionist atrocities.

We still see the media “deliberating” on whether the first hospital bombing in Gaza was a “hamas rocket” or a deliberate attack on civilian infrastructure by the illegitimate state, even after every other hospital was bombed by them. Meanwhile, after the Minab school bombing by the US, the media quickly, within a day, came to the consensus that it was America that conducted the attack.

America’s media apparatus, financial institutions, and academia all give preferential treatment to jewish zionists over white americans, yet nobody wants to point it out over fear of being called an antisemite.

With that being said, it does make me have so much more respect for my anti-zionist jewish comrades, throwing away all the possible benefits they could have received for what is right.

I would disagree on the “not just Whites” part.

A Mizrahi or Sephardi or Beta Israeli or what have you could theoretically get all the same treatments but once they arrive in Israel itself they’re still subjected to the racial hierarchy with Ashkenazim at the top and every other Jew occupying different positions of the lower rungs - and naturally the Black Jews of Ethiopia are at the very bottom.

And some Jews just can’t get in at all, frankly. I remember watching a video from a Ugandan Jew talking about how his community was denied the Right of Return whereas a smaller, newer, whiter group of more recent Jewish converts from South Africa got accepted right away. He ended the video with a simple “I wonder why.” that just stuck with me.

Much as the German Nazis put themselves above other “Aryans” the Ashkenazi Zionists put themselves above other Jews.

Yeah there’s some massive double standards when it comes to judeophobia vs literally any other kind of bigotry. For libs, I get it, since they can’t tell up from down anyway. But among commies, the royal treatment is baffling.

Like, sure, not all Zionists are Jews and many of its most ardent supporters are Christians, but it’s also true that Jews are Zionists, almost universally so. It feels like people are ignoring the latter by constantly emphasizing the former. We should take this seriously and put blame where blame is due because Jews are supporting Zionism materially via fundraisers, stolen land sales, and outright colonization. The lionizing of judeophobia as some sort of transcendental, eternal law of nature only serves Israel.

If Jews are racist, it’s because the poll was rigged. If Jews are criminal, it’s due to targeted misreporting. If Jews commit genocide, it’s because they were tricked into doing it. It’s ridiculous and I can’t think of a single other demographic that gets treated with kid gloves like this.

I’ve definitely seen leftists claim that the Assad governments were “genocidal” against Sunnis because of the high amount if Sunni casualties during the Civil War and Hafez’ crackdowns. They also point to the majority Alawite leadership within the military.

            This ignores the fact that:

            A) The majority of Syrians are Sunni, and therefore a Civil War would obviously represent that in its casualties.

            B) The Sunni ideology that was being suppressed was foreign to Syria, being Wahabbi influenced imported by Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Arab states.

            C) The point about the ethnic over represetation in the military high command could also be used against Kurds in the SDF (something they won’t bat an eye at). The reason for that Alawite dominance had more to do with the Assad family being overly represented, themselves being Alawites.

Obviously the nepotism was a problem, but the alternative was a literal headchopping fundamentalist. Western leftists love to ignore Al-Jazeera’s Arabic coverage of the civil war. Qatar explicitly platformed Wahabbi fundamentalists that were calling for the eradication of Shias and Alawites from Syria.

These people were not just speaking about the nepotism and corruption of the Assad family. They held Alawites, and their Shia allies, collectively responsible as a group, and called for the exact slaughter that we’re seeing against minorities in Syria today.

It’s like western leftists brains turn off for thus topic I swear. When you tell them, “if you want to know how Israel really thinks, check the Hebrew sources” they’ll understand immediately. However when you use that same logic for Syria, and tell them to look into what the prominent Arabic media is saying, they’ll just blank face you and say that the Assads were genocidal.

      • westerners have an odd attachment to the zionist narrative that jews are special little gems whose suffering and oppression is worth more than anyone else’s.

they would have had no problem with hitler murdering domestic and foreign communists, as well waging genocidal warfare on the peoples of the ussr. in fact, equivalent ideas get celebrated more and more openly nowadays.

the slavic or romani victims or the political prisoners who suffered the same or even worse abuses in the same camps by the same fascist parasites as the jews don’t get to be immortalized in western literature or film or music or other arts.

despite the fact, that racism against slavic peoples was (read: is) at the very core of hitlerite ideology, westerners never as much as acknowledge it, instead celebrating the death of hundreds thousands of slavic people in a conflict caused by western capital. and despite the crimes, that the hitlerites perpetrated against the the romani population, anti-romani racism remains just as common as life itself.

the role of communists resisting the hitlerite tyranny is also consistently played down, if not outright ignored, with some reactionarys even growing brazen enough to call them traitors. the goal is to portray communism as something foreign, from which “the nation” needs to be protected.

the average european zionazi is thus trained from birth to never admit that slavs and communists, not jews, were the primary victims of nazism, both in numbers as well as chronologically.

Insane comment to make. My problem is polling people from the most reactionary countries on earth (USA, ENGLAND, CANADA) and generalizing their views. Imagine if you made up your mind on Iran based on what iraniam-americans think, surely you can see the problem here? Heck you will conclude that latin americans are worse than hitler due the same process.

Is it hitlerite to ignore Palestinian and Arab voices who have said as much as this?

Let me put things into perspective: if you were a Palestinian or some other Arab, these Jewish zionists you are so eager to defend and protect from the mildest criticism would still rather see you and your family slaughtered and your home given to one of their own.

They are despicable people who don’t deserve any of the PR you’re doing for them. This IS how they feel.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

Edit: and I should add (so that you don’t accuse me of anti-Semitism) that I don’t think every single jew on the planet thinks like this.

Edit2: without doxing myself, I am west asian. I’ve had friends and family directly impacted by this “war”

Presently I am intentionally minimizing my exposure to the news, and I was reluctant to touch this topic because, quite honestly, I’d rather not deal with any drama that could result, but I feel like I need to address a few points to satiate my conscience:

Let me start off by admitting that yes, these polls are probably accurate. It is disappointing for us who are interested in Jewish people for historical or cultural reasons, and given that there is a superabundance of evidence for both the IOF’s atrocities and the unsustainability of the Herzlian project, it is becoming very difficult to excuse the persistent approval of the so-called ‘Jewish state’. At this point, it is tempting to write off Jewish Herzlians as lost causes; most of them should have gotten the message by now.

The problem is comparable to how many Catholics — including Irish ones — tolerated the Fascist invasion of Ethiopia. In fact, it was overwhelmingly common for diaspora Italians to approve of Benito Mussolini:

The Italian-American press, it should be remembered, was almost 90 percent pro-Mussolini. Not until 1941 did the press completely desert Il Duce, and then the repudiation of Fascism was a result of diplomatic developments rather than political repentance.

    (Source.)

Although the leadership of Italian-American labor stood unalterably opposed to Fascism, the rank-and-file Italian worker entertained ambivalent and even affectionate feelings for the “new Italy” and the charismatic Mussolini. These deep emotions surfaced particularly during the Ethiopian War when Italian labor unions, like Local 89 of the ILGWU, assailed Il Duce’s aggression only to be denounced by their own workers.

    […]

Significantly, the small number of anti-Fascists, who numbered “optimistically” a little less than 10 percent of a total Italian-American population of 4,600,000 in 1930, could never successfully attack Mussolini without incurring the stigma of being “un-Italian.”

    (Source.)

I could share more, but the point is that we’ve seen almost all of this before: indoctrination, overwhelming consensus, intolerance towards the dissidents, &c. Nonetheless, sooner or later the Jewish mainstream is going to outgrow Herzlianism just like most people in the Italian diaspora outgrew Fascism. As I said, the Herzlian project is unsustainable.

While ideally trying to educate ordinary Jews about Herzlianism’s consequences is the optimistic message to take from this, I won’t hold it against you if you see that as a waste of time; they should have jumped ship a long time ago when the evidence for Herzlianism’s atrocities was more abundant than ever. In all honesty, I suspect that only a minority of Catholics and Italians loss interest in Fascism because of antifascist education; most of the disinterest was because of Fascism losing, and a similar effect is likely to happen with Herzlianism. In any event, none of that should stop us from continuing to educate others on Herzlianism’s consequences, including its consequences for Jewish people (‘counterintuitive’ though that may seem).

So yes, as disappointed as I am to say it, ordinary Jews approving of the occupation is probably accurate. The approval is likely, in most cases, an uninformed or a casual one (as was likely for many diaspora Italians regarding Fascism), for whatever that may be worth. Whatever the case may be, I reconcile this with my respect for Jewish cultures by cherishing the Jewish critics of Zionism (many of whom rightfully prioritize Palestinian voices) and by understanding that Herzlianism’s decline is inevitable, which is soon to render its popularity among ordinary Jews obsolete.

I haven’t read the full article yet (so this might be addressed) but I imagine that there is some significant self identification bias. People that self identify as Jewish in the west do so for a number of reasons, largely material but also for social reasons (basically socially sacrosanct).

For otherwise unremarkable westerners who want to feel unique they try their best to “embrace their Jewishness” which manifests as consuming ridiculous hasbara because its promoted as what a “good Jew” would believe. Being a uncompromising zionist is framed as the only acceptable position by most Jewish institutions. And doing so gets validated.

Definitely a failure in ethical philosophy for my fellow Jews but ultimately what their support of Israel means differs so greatly as to render the term ‘support’ difficult to parse. Israel isn’t just a material place but also a spurious concept that many Jews hold as something like a Jewish right to defend oneself from violence. Obviously very mixed up if you haven’t been blasted by the greatest propaganda and influence peddling machine in human history for your entire life.

Hate5six, a pretty legendary concert videographer within the hardcore music scene who is also extremely outspoken in his support for Palestine, shared a sentiment on Instagram arguing that the people who want to collapse the distinction between Zionism and Judaism are the majority of followers of Judaism themselves, so it shouldn’t be a concern to the Pro-Palestine movement.

Right away I saw sizable backlash in the online hardcore community calling him antisemitic, but this data and all other indications I have seen, directly support his point.

It seems like the distinction between Zionism and Judaism serves to shield the vast majority of Jewish institutions that staunchly support Zionism and Israel.

The rigorous need to tip toe around language, ensure that the distinction is abundantly clear, serves as a distraction to the movement.

And furthermore, when these organizations are happy to call anything as simple as a Palestinian flag antisemitic, why should we take antisemitism seriously at all? It’s the boy who cried wolf. Maybe once Israel is gone we can have a real conversation about anti-semitism but it seems completely pointless in the current state of things.

This isn’t studying the opinion of Jews worldwide, your study is limited to the English speaking countries in the global North, plus Israel.

Its still very disingenous. You can make literally any group look terrible by interviewing american diasporoids. You’d think cubans are monsters if you generalize their views from polls of cuban-americans.

Except that in case of the diasporoids from those other countries, they are a TINY minority largely disconnected from the main population they “represent”.

Whereas in case of the Jews, it’s the opposite. You keep telling us in this thread that we should be asking the opinions of the Jews in some random countries where they form some insignificant minority largely disconnected from the main concentrations of Jews instead.

The VAST majority of world Jews live either in Israel or America. American Jews are not the diaspora.

So if you can’t ask the americans their opinions because they are a diaspora (despite that being the largest population of jewish people worldwide), then you have to poll…the Zionist entity? Because those are the non-diaspora? Which is therefore truly representative, right? I bet you’ll get real anti-Zionist representation then.

You can ask their opinion, but you can’t just declare it the general opinion of jews. American jews are fundamentally different than other jews, because they are AMERICAN. it’s not that hard to understand.

They are fundamentally the majority of Jewish people. America is over half of the world’s Jewish population. If you add in the entity, that is over 80%!! If you add in Canada and Britain, that’s over 85%!! you’re literally arguing you shouldn’t include over 85% of the world’s Jewish population to gauge the opinions of Jewish people worldwide. You have got to be fucking kidding me.

American jews are fundamentally different than other jews, because they are AMERICAN

The American exceptionalism brainworms are strong

                  😂

This is used when someone is serious and definitely making good arguments that support their goofy position

Tell me more about how it’s disingenuous to include the overwhelming majority of a population when trying to poll a population for their opinions on something.

Agree, which is why i find it insane to draw up conclusions from polls on americans, which are in all shape in form the same thing as israelis.

Uh no, they’re not indigenous to america, they’re diasporoids in all shape and form. Settler states are diaspora states, the US being the biggest one ever.

Settlers and diaspora are different groups. A diaspora is a dispersion of a population, they’re scattered while maintaining their own distinct culture and identity. Settlers, rather than being dispersed and scattered, are strategically concentrated to displace the indigenous population and to make their distinct culture and identity into the dominant one of the settler project.

Jews can be thought of as settlers in the US, but “diaspora” implies a level of distinction and separation that simply isn’t there.
