    Plasma Panels have now gained a new visibility mode: “Dodge Windows” aka “intelligent auto-hide!” In essence, the Panel auto-hides when touched by a window, but is otherwise visible

    Finally! With this, we can now have a panel behave like a proper dock.

    I thought it could be ported to standard Linux since it’s QT. Kde does not have a systemd ui yet

    What about systemd-genie? No distro includes it by default

      Isn’t that a compatibility tool for running Linux (with systemd) inside of a WSL container on Windows? That wouldn’t have much to do with this thread (desktop environment component like KDE Plasma don’t really interact with systemd as far as I know).

      That being said, I was under the impression that workarounds like systemd-genie aren’t needed anymore now that Microsoft updated WSL with native systemd compatibility?
